「玲可為什麼會選擇成為極地科考隊員呢？」
玲可的摯友曾向她提出過這樣的問題。彼時的她未有任何頭緒，這一玩笑似的提問也便草草了之。
不過，在那之後，玲可也曾無數次地獨自思考這一問題的答案——難道是自己對貝洛伯格史前文明或自然地理感興趣嗎？又或是想要逃避冬國圍城中無可避免的社交？還是……
但是，或許就連女孩自己都能沒意識到：對於玲可而言，朗道家的事其實都很簡單——
「想去做的話就去。」
姐姐痴迷於自己的愛好，於是成為了機械屋的老闆娘和搖滾樂手；哥哥志願保衛貝洛伯格，於是加入了銀鬃鐵衛，如今已是大名鼎鼎的戍衛官。
所以，玲可突然向家裡人宣布道：「我想去雪原深處看看！」，也只是這麼簡單的事。
只是因為寒冷就不能去嗎？那就做好防寒準備。
只是因為危險就不能去嗎？那就做好生存訓練。
只是因為沒人做過，所以就不能做嗎？那玲可來做不就行了。
「畢竟…從起點到目標，不就是這麼簡單的事嗎？」

"Why did Lynx choose to become a polar explorer?"
Lynx's close friend once asked her this question. At that time, she had no idea how to reply, so she brushed the inquiry off like a joke.

Therefore, when Lynx suddenly announced to the family: "I want to venture deep into the Snow Plains," it was also simple as that.
Afraid of the cold? Then wear something warm. Afraid of the danger? Then learn survival skills. No one's done it before? Then Lynx can be the first one.
