When your community is full of luxuries, and almost all of your friends have luxuries, it will make a "luxury culture". You will think "When I don't have some luxuries, I will be despised" (But in reality not many people attach importance to luxuries)

In order to resist Consumerism, I will live as simply as possible🤔

Can "Steam Summer Sale" also be seen as s form of Consumerism?

Several days ago I read a Japanese passage about cosumerism: the name of a product is longer and longer --- companies use more and more adjectives and nouns to make the product appear to be a new one, to give an incentive for consumers to buy these products.
