She dashed to the door only to find it can't be opened.  Totally panic,  she knocked the door heavily but in vain.  The peculiar sound didn't fade but even loomed, adding to her fear.  Sarah forced herself to calm down.  After several deep breath she come to sense a new.  She knew facing the sound is the only way,  so she dragged her slack legs,  inching toward the frightening basement. 

In the mean time,  the TV station.

"Hello everyone,  our special program of city 1st anniversary will begin in......er,  in 10 minutes."

The host A was frustrated that he even forgot words in such a important occasion.  Yet when he glanced at his partner—who winced and don't know what to say—he felt faintly something had happened.
