Qingque's Voice-overs: 1.Work is not about increasing value. It just pays your bills. The trick is to increase value for yourself at your employer's expense.

Character Story: Part IV
"Being happy at work is an artform." "First, never overdo any task. Higher-ups want to see their tasks progressing at a consistent pace before the deadline, so never turn in anything early." "Second, never take the initiative. If higher-ups don't personally tell you what they want you to do, that is not your problem." "Third, don't work hard by yourself, and never fight for clout. If you can, try and drag someone in to suffering together with you. Whatever you do, never work alone for the sake of trying to demonstrate any kind of ability." "Afterward, you can give credit to your peers, both as an easy hat-tip or simple investment into your future. But also as a shield against the possibility of higher-ups promoting you — a promotion means even more work." "The point is, there are three basic principles for happiness at work – do not be proactive, do not say no, and do not be responsible. Did you get it?"

Trailblaze Missions
1.Anyway, don't dwell on names. As long as the machine works, what does it matter whether it's a "jade abacus" or a "computer"?

Trailblaze Continuances
1.But before I leave, I have to help these guests take care of some trouble here at the Commission. If I don't, people will think I was fired because of cowardice in the face of danger.

2.Yes, for a puzzle that was designed from the start, choosing any other path would be a pointless mistake. But the universe isn't someone's game, and no one is designing puzzles for us to solve. The universe doesn't have a single answer... we can do anything we want while we're in it. Even if it's the same work every day, I can hide in the library and read a book or find someone to play Celestial Jade with... and that's freedom.

3.Master Diviner, you're not the only one who can design a puzzle, and I don't tread the path of destiny alone.

4.The universe is like jade tiles on a game table. When the tiles are shuffled, the outcome is already predetermined. Which tiles can be played, which tiles are leftover, what kind of hand the person next to you is trying to make — all of these can be determined through calculations. But if everything is just a calculation, the game loses its flavor. Randomness and adaptability, ambushing your opponent, twists and turns, the balance of the elements — it's a mix of calculations, unknowns, and loss of complete control that makes Celestial Jade the kind of game it is — and those are the same things that give life its color and vibrance. Do my "choices" at the game table mean nothing if I have a sure loss in front of me? No — the choices are what make the game meaningful in the first place.

5.Heliobus, you cannot fathom the joys of humanity. You are imprisoned by the illusion of destiny, unable to free yourself, and you want everyone who peeks into the future to suffer the same pain as you. You... You don't understand humans at all.

Events Aurum Alley's Hustle and Bustle
1.I agree that I shouldn't have to pay for other people's mistakes. But, that diviner put it nicely — "We are a collective! Knuckle down, work hard, and there's nothing we can't get done!" Anyway, she's just a supervisor and would never roll her sleeves up and get her hands dirty.

6.Do you find it hard to fall asleep without scrolling through your phone? Do you hit the snooze button every morning? Do you feel useless at work, hearing your bosses complaining about your incompetence...? When you actually think about your life outside of work, only one word pops into your head, doesn't it? (March 7th: "Overtime!")
