Introduction:

Today, we're going to delve into a topic of great significance - the environmental issues in our local area.

As we all know, the environment is the foundation upon which our lives and communities thrive. However, in recent years, it has become increasingly apparent that our region is facing a variety of environmental challenges. From air pollution that casts a haze over our once-clear skies, to water contamination that threatens the health of our rivers and the aquatic life within, the problems are multifaceted and complex. Additionally, the increasing amount of waste generated by our growing population is putting a strain on our waste management systems. These issues not only impact the natural beauty of our surroundings but also have far-reaching implications for our health, economy, and the sustainability of our way of life.

Through this discussion, we aim to raise awareness, share insights, and explore potential solutions to address these pressing concerns. Let's embark on this journey together to better understand and protect the environment that we all share.

Oh, about environmental issues I only know to turn off the light when leaving the home, throw the rubbish in the rubbish bin and save the water (turn off the faucet after using)

圆环之理:When referring to turn off the faucet this topic, it suddens occur to me, my cat likes to drink flowing water and doesn't like to drink dead water, so she always turn on the faucet by herself when she is thirsty. But she only knows how to turn on, doesn't know how to turn off (perhaps she is not willing to do that or she is only too lazy)

圆环之理:回复 @圆环之理:A great volume of water is wasted until we discover the faucet is on

圆环之理:回复 @圆环之理:So because of my cat, we will waste much water (and money) every month

Omar:Reply to @Ring Theory: Suggest buy a cat water fountain to let your cat drink  fresh water.

圆环之理:回复 @Omar:We once tried this method, but she is too old and seems to be reluctant to get in touch with new things. She didn't use this fountain at all

Omar:Reply to @The Theory of the Circle: That's a pity. I guess you can allow her to turn on the faucet to drink and keep and eye on the cat and faucet.

I think sometimes the so-called environmental problems are the plots of the NATO countries (although I also admit sometimes the environmental problems are indeed problems and the relevant ecological crisis is impending). The NATO countries led by the USA use [environmental protection] as excuse to accuse the developing countries (including China) in order to stop their industrial development

啊啊是谁都对:In fact, compared to America, seems that European countries tend to have more postive attitudes towards environmental protection.

In my location, the most pressing challenges in environmental issues are global warming and air pollution.

啊啊是谁都对:By the way, wildfires in southern California can be also a fact that can prove the impact of global warmth.

Environmental Pollution is a huge problem in my country. There are too many people and not enough awareness. All types of pollution is increasing such air, water and solid pollution. Situation is quite bad and needs a lot of effort to control. Also trees are being cut down everywhere to make way for roads and houses which is causing more air pollution and increasing the temperature of the environment.

啊啊是谁都对:So how to get out of poverty while keeping protecting environment?

啊啊是谁都对:回复 @啊啊是谁都对:In China, there was a discuss between environmental protection and economic growth. During the discuss, when it comes to the environment regulaiton, an expert asked: "Are Chinese people humans?" meaning that western countries trying limiting China's development with too high aims at environmental protection.
