But I think we can talk about something around that, for example, breaking news, because this is too hot.

How does Ne Zha 2 adapt traditional Chinese mythology to resonate with modern viewers?

Ne Zha 2 adapt traditional Chinese mythology to resonate with modern viewers by changing the character of NeZha. NeZha in this film is a innate devil and has a impetuous character. He always stirs up troubles in daily life. He must explore his own way. This absolutely different with the figure in <Investiture of the Gods>

Besides that, Taiyi Zhenren is adapted to be an ugly, scruffy and fat character (The original Taiyi Zhenren is a Taoist priest with immortal feelings). The same thing also happens on Wuliang Xianweng. He is described to be an evil Taoist. He uses the monsters and the demons to produce elixirs

I think the director of this film does these adaptions in order to deliver the value [The goodness or evil doesn't depend on one's identity, but one's behaviour. There are good monsters/demons and there are evil immortals/gods etc]. The director wants to encourage audiences to pursue their aspirations bravely

Perhaps many people were not born in a very wonderful family. Some people's family is poor, some people's parents are hate-filled and violent etc. It can be connected with NeZha's background. Nezha is the incarnation of the devil pearl. This is also a bad background

About this question I have no answer. Perhaps it is because all people admire people who fight against their destiny bravely?
