Let's talk about fun! In our busy lives, everyone needs time to relax. But what do we do for fun? The answer might be very different depending on who you are.

Maybe you watch short videos, play a mobile game, or listen to music. Maybe you enjoy watching movies, reading a book, or playing sports. For some, shopping with friends is the best relaxation, while for others, it's simply taking a long walk.

This week, let's share how we like to spend our free time. There are no right or wrong answers! This is a great chance to learn about the different ways we relax, from our youngest student members to our working adult members. You might even find a new hobby from someone else's story!

The Basics: What is your favorite way to relax after school or after work? Please tell us why you enjoy it!

Alone Time vs. Social Time: Do you prefer to relax by yourself (e.g., reading, watching a show) or with other people (e.g., playing team games, hanging out with friends)? Why?

Old & New: What is one "old" form of entertainment you still like (e.g., reading paper books, listening to the radio)? What is one "new" form of entertainment you enjoy (e.g., watching live streams, playing online games)?

Your "Happy Place": If you have 30 minutes of free time, what is the first thing you usually do to feel happy and relaxed?

A Fun Memory: Can you share a short story about a really fun or relaxing time you had recently? What did you do and who were you with?

Want to Try: What is a hobby or activity for fun that you have never tried but would like to? (For example: learning a guitar, trying yoga, baking a cake).

Different Generations: What is a fun activity you often see other people in your family (like your parents, children, or cousins) doing? Do you understand why they enjoy it?

Streaming short videos is my usual recreation. I play video games sometimes but they are a bit demanding, while streaming is more casual. A hands-on activity also engages me.

In my childhood, it was reading books and playing computer games.

But now, regrettably, I'm inclined to binge-reading others' coomments on Bilibili, Zhihu, or rednote. That's quite bad. So I just uninstalled rednote on my phone.

Your "Happy Place": If you have 30 minutes of free time, what is the first thing you usually do to feel happy and relaxed?

To be honest, I don't know... half an hour is too short to relax... it's just a period of waiting time...

Playing video games,  I think.  It's both relaxing and interesting.

By myself. I am not good at socializing.

I will play video games for leisure times, like casual games, or games by which I can experience "power stronger and inflating"

Another choice should be playing with my cat

For old forms I like to play with my cat or read books, for new forms I like to play computer games or read e-books

I also used to watch TV, but since the computer and internet appeared, I stopped watching it
