This week, we’re talking about School Life—a topic we’ve all experienced, whether we’re in middle school, high school, university, or even working or studying at a higher level.

School life is full of different experiences: homework and exams, friends and teachers, clubs and sports, fun moments and challenges. Some of us are still living it every day, while others may look back and remember those days.

I’m a college student, and I used to think my typical day was pretty mundane—yet quietly comfortable. Even there are so many courses, but I am still capable to manage time so there is space to have a breath. I usually woke up at 7 for the first class(if weekends, then 8), stayed in the teaching building until lunch. Then nap. So as the afternoon. If there is no class, I do whatever I feel like. During the night time, I often work out for 40 minutes and scroll social media in bed before sleep. When a whole day is free, I will plan out a few mini-trip. For example, there are lakes and woods around my school let me feel the nature. Or took the subway to a distant museum to stand in front of a masterpiece and train my eye for beauty. Overall, quite boring lol.

1.What does a typical school day look like for you?

As a senior high school student,  my common schedule is totally filled with classes and schoolwork.  Thus, I'mI generally have classes or do assignment everyday.  And what's worse,  I am in Grade 3 now so my leisure time was cut down badly. 

2.What’s your favorite subject or class activity?

I don't have a favorite subject since I hate exam-oriented education in which I must repeat something I have mastered again and again,  making some interesting subjects tedious and meaningless, though I always enjoy study itself.  

No school club is available because our ridiculous school leaders dismissed them after I entered the school,  except for the Literature Society, which I am not so interested in.  

4.How is school life different now from before?

Despite so many disadvantages in my senior high school I still found something better than before.  For example,  more self-study classes are provided so that I am able to carry out my own study plan, which makes a marked contrast to those in the middle school.  And the PE classes and free - activity classes are seldom denied.

A typical school day is monotonous. People get up and go to school, then do homework

2.What’s your favorite subject or class activity?

My favorite subjects are physics, chemistry and mathematics

4.How is school life different now from before?

I think there are no very huge differences. Many experts advocate "reduce the burden" for students. But the students still to do have much homework

I think the crucial reason is the revolution. So long as there exists competition, people cannot relax
