There is a small bug where Firefox 115 Installer for
Windows XP/Vista doesnt work, mainly saying it needs Windows 7 x64 or
later,

fact, I already noticed this issue around Firefox 93, but I have not
found any way to resolve it. Modern Firefox and Chromium are designed
for high performance Windows 11 machines, and I believe that any
computer still capable of running Windows XP effectively no longer meets
the requirements for running modern Firefox. fission.autostart and dom.ipc.processCount
might help to some extent, but on my system, after opening more than a
dozen tabs with heavy images or videos, the browser still crashes due to
insufficient memory. |
