be left始终表示“还剩下“的意思There were 6 birds.
2 birds flew away. Now there are 4 birds left. (The 4 birds are left) |
up、down、left和right这四个单词在表示方位时都不能直接做be动词的表语比如be left是leave的被动语态，不是“左”的意思
be right是正确的意思，不是右的意思 |
