🎉 Happy 1st Anniversary! Let's Celebrate with a Story Relay! 🎉
Hello everyone, and a huge Happy Birthday to our wonderful English Club!
To celebrate our first anniversary together, we're launching a fun and creative activity: The Anniversary Story Relay!
Here’s how it works:
1. I will post the Starting Paragraph of a story right below this message.
2. The next person writes a comment to continue the story with a new paragraph.
3. Then the next person continues from there, and so on!
4. Let's see where our collective imagination takes us. Will it be a mystery? A romance? A sci-fi adventure? It's up to YOU!

The Starting Paragraph
The old key felt colder than ice in Sarah's hand, its intricate grooves pressing into her palm. She hadn't expected to find anything behind the loose brick in her new apartment's fireplace, let alone a tarnished silver key tied to a faded tag with a single word: "Remember." Outside, the first anniversary fireworks for the city's founding began to explode, painting the night sky in brilliant shades of gold and purple. But as a particularly loud burst shook the windowpane, a faint sound, completely out of place, echoed from the locked door of the basement—a sound like someone gently knocking back.
