Group projects can bring different skills together, but they often feel unfair. Some do a lot; others do little. Visible work—writing, presenting, leading—gets noticed. Invisible work—checking details, filling gaps, mediating, quietly keeping things on track—often goes unseen. This week, we discuss our experiences, preferred roles, credit, and how to make group work fairer and more efficient.

1. Share a group project experience. What was your role, what went well, and what felt unfair?

2. Do you enjoy working in a group? Why or why not?

3. Which role do you prefer in a group: a leader who plans and communicates, or a member who does specific tasks? Why?

4. What is your opinion on free riders—people who do much less than expected? How should a group respond?

5. Do online tools like group chats and shared documents make group work easier, or do they hide invisible work? Give an example.

6. How can groups make invisible work visible and improve fairness and efficiency? What method would you suggest?

No preference to it. Because I can do it without a group, but I also benefit from the cooperation.

Maybe the former. 

Because I can arrange tasks based on my preference.

Free riders should be defined as the one who pay less for the work. But the "paying" can shows in varient ways, labour, intelligence, money and etc.

Of course it's quite hard to deal with free riders --- the teacher can say "It's a part of cooperation" but a group doesn't have enough measures to punish them.

Hard to say. Online tools are quite effective to communicate each other that group work can be done easier. However, teachers may arrange harder tasks because of that.
