自他踏入「純美」的命途後，在苦修之路上，各類不同的「試煉」便逐漸展現——
或是出自祈願，或是出自懺悔，或以三重魔鬼的形式降下密語紛擾。

而當他以無畏的「槍」，心懷榮譽地斬下三重魔鬼誘惑後，軟弱、貪婪、雜念皆被抹去。
他將奉獻靈魂與生命在純美星神的腳下。

三重魔鬼的密語正如形態不同的囈言，它們在紛雜霧中幻化成各色人類慾念：
是庸俗逐利，是不恥罪孽；是權力王冠，是魅惑之音；
是戰戮巔峰，是飲食大欲；是忘記懺悔，是常情而已。

他的血將伴隨着榮譽灑在戰場上，殷紅一滴一滴與長發絞在一起。他的長槍放在這裏，神祝福它永遠鋒利——
已故師者、同行者的聲音都化作囈語縈繞耳邊，除非他的主人低頭，它將永不折斷。

在他於血液的浸泡中，幾乎失去意識之時，他終於聽到了不知來自何地的囈語：

Since embarking on the Path of Beauty, a path of asceticism, he had faced numerous trials. Some presented themselves as prayers, others as opportunities for repentance, and still others as the seductive whispers of the Triple Demons.

Fearlessly, he confronted these temptations with an unwavering lance and an indomitable spirit. With each victory, his weaknesses, greed, and distractions dissolved into oblivion. He pledged to offer his soul and life at the feet of the Aeon of Beauty.

The profane words of the Triple Demons resembled fragmented ravings, morphing into manifestations of human desires.
They embodied the crass pursuit of personal gain, shameless indulgence in sin, the allure of power, and the enticement of battle and worldly pleasures.
Their aim was to erode repentance and replace it with the banality of common sense.

His blood mingled with his flowing locks on the battlefield, with each crimson droplet intertwined with honor. His lance stood resolute at his side, blessed by the divine to retain its everlasting sharpness.
The echoes of his esteemed master and comrades transformed into whispers. His spear would never yield, even if his master had succumbed to evil temptations.

Drenched in blood, teetering on the precipice of consciousness, he finally discerned a faint murmur that seemed to emanate from the very fabric of existence.

"You defy infamy. You proclaim glory. You are the Knights of Beauty.
With each triumph, you must confront yourselves anew, peering into the depths of your hearts and acknowledging the potential for malevolence."

騎士團對如何秉持「純美」態度各不相同：
有人以一生貫徹自己的信念；有人不斷假設，不斷絕望推翻假設；
有人獲得授勳，征戎沙場；有人自認是鐘樓陋人，羞於接受「純美」的華袍；

不變的是眾人皆在宇宙中苦苦尋找「伊德莉拉」的真身。
他發誓牢記謙卑，憐憫，公正，一路從未違背過誓言；他將「純美」戒律銘記於心，信仰也變得愈發偏執。
「怪人…純美騎士真是一群怪人！」

自「伊德莉拉」可能已死的流言傳播於宇宙後，他們的惶惑更甚：
更多地虔誠，卻對應更多地不解；更多地大笑，卻對應更多地怪異。
於洪荒中往回窺視，各類「榮譽」、「美名」、「惡名」皆在冗長時間中湮滅。

一切的最後。

當他再次遇見往日同行的「騎士」時，對方已變成迷失在追求力量之路上的審美者。
那位曾經高舉傳奇武器，弒殺吞天巨獸的英雄，其鎧甲化為巨獸的鱗皮，其武器成為無法取下的爪牙，其血成了粘稠躁動的火焰，其雙眸只余野性而無人智，曾經喚他「摯友」的聲音，如今只余嘶嘶的叫聲。

Character Story: Part IV

The knights embraced diverse approaches in their pursuit of Beauty.
Some fervently embodied their beliefs until their final days, while others grappled with assumptions and defied heresies that could lead them into despair.
Some adorned themselves in armor and waged battles, while others saw themselves as unworthy, considering themselves the "ugly ones" unable to don the robe of beauty.

Yet, the unchanging truth remained in their collective quest to unravel the enigma of Idrila in the vast universe.
He vowed to uphold humility, mercy, and justice, remaining steadfast in honoring his oaths along the arduous path.
"Those freaks!... The Knights of Beauty are a bunch of freaks!"

As rumors of Idrila's demise spread throughout the cosmos, their perplexity deepened.
Piety intermingled with doubt, and laughter intertwined with lunacy.
Notions of honor, reputation, and infamy dissolved into nothingness.

This marked the end of everything.

When he finally encountered his former comrade, he found a knight who had become a fanatic, lost in a blind pursuit of power.
The former hero who had wielded a legendary weapon and vanquished the sky devourer had degenerated into a beast. His armor transformed into the scaly hide of the behemoth he had slain, his weapon into unyielding claws and fangs, and his blood into a viscous and restless flame. His eyes, once filled with wisdom, now burned with untamed wildness. The voice that had once addressed him as "my dear friend" had dwindled to a hissing cry.

The words spoken during the trial carried the weight of an impending prophecy, signaling the looming end.
Will he, himself... succumb to the clutches of the Omen of Evil?

A senior manager in the IPC Strategic Investment Department and one of the Ten Stonehearts, known for her cornerstone "Jade of Credit."
A beautiful and elegant moneylender, skilled in deciphering the depths of people's minds, she often exacts a price from her adversaries and secures the IPC's profits through collateral and contractual agreements.
She is willing to go to great lengths to lay the groundwork for acquiring something of greater value, and to extract benefits from seemingly penniless clients.

In the Silverchain Galaxy, a rare once-in-a-hundred-Amber-Era ion storm approached. A young woman from a family involved in the jewelry trade stood on the terrace, gazing out at a sky inundated with unusual colors.

"It's time to leave, miss. Mr. Horus has hired an entire starship, and we need to make our way to Basvia Starport for shelter."
"But the commoners in the Silverchain have not heard of the storm, no?"
"We don't have a choice. It's to prevent possible riots."
"...Leave if you want, but I'll stay here and seek that lady's help."
"But this ion storm will obliterate all your wealth..."
"There are always things that can't be measured simply by price, such as... kindness and life."
The aged butler let out a deep sigh.

The young lady walked into the pawn shop.
"Welcome to Bonajade Exchange. Who are you? And what do you seek?"
An unfamiliar and elegant voice rang from behind the curtain.
"Oh, kind lady. The worries in your soul seem as turbulent as the raging calamity in the Silverchain Galaxy."
The speaker in the shadows emitted a warm light. The young lady looked up anxiously.
"Yes, this is why I'm here. I seek... for a hope."
"A hope of saving the Silverchain Galaxy, I see. What price will you pay in return?"
"The Oceanic Dream, the Sacred Blood, and the Jewel of the Century... Each of these gems would be sufficient to redeem ownership of an asteroid..."
"You know they are not nearly enough."
"A lease on a third of the Silverchain Galaxy's mining industry... and the contract lasts for eternity."
"Your sincerity is impressive, but I'm afraid that's still not enough."
"But I don't have anything else to give to you..."
"Do you believe that everything in this world can be traded?"
A hand reached out from the darkness, white and slender.
The young lady looked up, and the flicker that was fading in her eyes began to pulsate anew.
"I will bring peace to the Silverchain Galaxy. As for the price... I want the entirety of you."
"You will become the IPC's agent in the Silverchain Galaxy. From this moment on, every huff of your breath and every minute of your life will contribute to the Amber Lord's great cause..."
"Until the very end of your life."

富麗堂皇的會議室中，三位「P46」圍桌而坐。

「那地方就該被一場離子風暴毀掉，簡單直接。」
說這話時，男人始終看着窗外。庇爾波因特的黃昏是紫紅色的，林立的高樓反射出歐泊石般七彩的光芒。
「我的意見恰恰相反。自然死亡的獵物…有什麼樂趣可言？」
圓桌的另一邊，女士輕晃着手中的酒杯，那酒是血紅色的。

「和二位不同，我只是一名商人。」
翡翠起身，微笑着結束了陳述。她知曉這個結果，這房間裏的三人從來不會達成共識。
「所以我擅長的，也無非是在一場又一場交易中，等待最關鍵的那筆投資出現。
「那些身處絕境的人們，他們甘願付出一切去實現自身的欲求，所以這些欲求也會賜予他們無與倫比的力量。
「看，始終抗拒公司的銀鏈星系，如今也成了『戰略投資部』可靠的盟友。
「所以期待吧，我們在今天種下種子，當然是為了讓它在明天結果。」  

Character Story: Part II

"The Silverchain Galaxy has been officially included in the IPC's commercial sphere. Our profits for the next cycle are expected to increase by 47%."
Three P46-level representatives sat around the table in an opulent conference room.

"That place should just get destroyed by the ion storm, straightforward and simple."
The man kept his gaze fixed at the window as he talked. The dusk in Pier Point is purplish red, while the towering buildings reflected the opalescent glow.
"My opinion is the opposite. Prey that dies a natural death... what fun is there in that?"
The woman sitting across the round table remarked, gently swirling the wine in her goblet, red as blood.

"I am unlike the two of you. I am simply a merchant."
Jade rose, smiling as she finished her statement. She knew this outcome would come to pass, that there was no chance of the three people in this room coming to an agreement.
"My expertise is but waiting for that critical investment to present itself in transaction after transaction."
"The desperate will give anything to see their desires manifest, and these desires will also imbue them with unparalleled power."
"Witness: The Silverchain Galaxy that once rejected the IPC have now become reliable allies of the 'Strategic Investment Department.'"
"So, look forward to it. The seeds I plant today will be sown as tomorrow's fruits."

邊星地帶有着這樣的傳說：當陷入絕望時，可懷揣捨棄一切的覺悟向星際和平公司請願。若你有幸，一位來者不拒的放債人將會出現。

「歡迎光臨『慈玉典押』。來者何人，所求何物？」
她重複着這句問候，靜待群星間的欲望朝她湧來。

貌美的舞者向她求取容顏永駐的可能，她收走她的部分壽命，為她打開博識學會的大門。一次又一次，舞者重拾青春年華離開慈玉典押，又因衰老再度歸來。直到某一日，她掩面離去，再也沒有回來。

亡國的軍人將情感盡數抵押，以換取復仇的可能。在失去所有的悲傷和憤怒後，他變成了戰爭的機器。往昔的敵人被盡數殲滅，他也永遠留在了昨日，只留下化為廢墟的焦土——它們在日後成了公司的屬地。

還有一對巴維魯夫婦，以自己的記憶為代價，向她換取純粹的財富。他們在生命的不同階段來到慈玉典押，換取金錢，換取聲名，換取地位…直至將記憶揮霍一空。他們度過了幸福的一生，只是最後忘記了所有。

無論何物都能在「慈玉典押」用作抵押，哪怕一貧如洗也有機會魚躍龍門。
「什麼慈善事業！她是個魔女！一個喜歡收藏靈魂的惡魔！」
「一定不要和她說任何話，否則，你將一無所有……」
「那位慈玉女士？她不可能是這樣的人，如果沒有她的資助，我的故鄉早就淪為殖民地了。」

In the Borderlands, there exists a legend that when one is in utter despair and ready to give up everything they have, they may request the IPC's help, and if fortune favors them, a moneylender, who never declines any client, will arrive.

"Welcome to the Bonajade Exchange. Who are you? And what do you seek?"
For countless times, she repeated the greeting, awaiting the desires from the entire cosmos to surge toward her.

A beautiful dancer came to her, seeking the possibility of eternal beauty. She took a portion of her lifespan and granted her access to the Intelligentsia Guild. Time and time again, the dancer regained her youthful years, only to return again when age caught up with her. Until one day, she left hiding her face in her hands, never to return.

A soldier from a fallen country pledged all his emotions for the chance of vengeance. Having lost all grief and anger, he transformed into a war machine sowing death. Eventually, he eradicated all his former enemies and was forever trapped in his past, leaving only scorched earth in the aftermath — territories that later fell under the IPC's possession.

A couple from Baviru traded their memories in exchange for absolute wealth. They visited her Bonajade Exchange at different stages of their lives, seeking wealth, fame, and social standing... until they had squandered all of their memories. They lived a content life, only to forget it all in the end.

Rumor circulated that anything could be used as collateral at the Bonajade Exchange, and even those without any possessions would have a chance to gain a new lease of life.
"You call that charity?! Nah, she's an evil witch! A cursed demon who enjoys collecting souls!"
"Never ever talk to her, or you'll end up losing everything..."
"You're talking about Lady Bonajade? No, she's not like that at all! Without her help, my hometown would have been taken over as a colony ages ago."
...
She listens to the rumors about her circulating among the stars, but she pays them no mind.
"There is but a thin line between right and wrong, and good and evil."
"Once a desire, however tiny it is, is ignited, more desires will ensue. All that we need to do is to... wait and reap."
She meticulously counted her collections, the remnants of people's burning desires.

這一天，又有兩個年輕人叩響了大門。門無聲無息向後打開，隱隱綽綽的煙霧中，她停下了用天平稱量抵押物的動作，為兩位到訪者斟上了清茶。

「如我所料，歐泊還是選擇了你去辦匹諾康尼這案子。不過…你似乎又多了一位同盟者呢。」
她示意他們坐下，華貴的座椅上還留着上一位客人的餘溫。
「為了收回匹諾康尼的壞債，你們需要什麼？」
「你的基石。」少年看向她的眼睛。
「第一次有人提出這樣的要求，那你們願意付出什麼？」她微笑道。
「我們的基石。」少女說。
「還有我的命。要在匹諾康尼撕開一道口子，我別無選擇。」少年深不見底的眼瞳中，光一閃而過。

和他們眼神相觸的時候，往日種種一閃而過，最終定格在她與二人初遇的畫面。
她輕輕嘆息，將代表匹諾康尼的微縮模型置於天平一端。
「我們有各自的來路，也有各自的歸宿。」
托帕石落在天平的另一端。
「這段同行的路可以長，也可以短…但只要還未行至終點，我們就必須履行立下的契約。」
砂金石接着落下。
「這世上不存在無價之物，一切都可被衡量、抵押、交易……」
最後是翡翠石，它墜地的剎那，天平徹底傾斜倒下——
「現在，用它們去換取匹諾康尼的明天吧。」  

Character Story: Part IV

On a different day, two young individuals arrived at her door. The door swung open silently, revealing a room veiled in smoke. Amidst the smoke, she momentarily paused her evaluation of collateral on the scales, and graciously offered fresh tea for her visitors.

"As I anticipated, Opal chose you to handle the Penacony case, but it seems... you've found a new ally."
She remarked, gesturing for them to take a seat on the ornate chairs that still retained warmth from the previous visitor.
"What do you need to collect bad debts owed by Penacony?"
"Your Cornerstone." the young man replied, meeting her gaze.
"Well, this is the first time anyone has asked for such a thing. What price will you pay in return?" she asked, a smile playing on her lips.
"Our Cornerstones." the young lady replied.
"And my life, too. I have no choice except that if I want to tear open a gash in Penacony." A glimmer of light flickered within the bottomless pupils of the young man.

When their eyes met, various memories of the past flickered past, then settled on the image of her first encounter with these two.
She let out a soft sigh, placing a miniature model of Penacony on one end of the scale.
"Each of us has our own beginnings and endings."
The topaz stone was placed on the other end of the scale.
"This journey together may be long or short, but as long as we haven't reached the end, we must honor our contract."
The aventurine stone followed.
"In this world, nothing is truly beyond value. Everything can be measured, leveraged, and traded..."
In the end, the jade stone was placed on the scale, and the scales tipped completely and fell.
"Now, let's trade them for the future of Penacony."

Upholding the recitation of ninja mantra, creating Dazzling Ninja Seals, and studying ninja scrolls — That is, the Way of the Ninja involves rap, graffiti, and manga — Through rigorous self-discipline, she roams the stars, upholding justice and righteousness.
As a member of the Galaxy Rangers, she relentlessly pursues the villain known as Evil Ninja Osaru, chasing them to the very edge of the Cosmos.

Trial System: After destroying the evil Osaru's house, you vow to take down Evil Ninja Osaru.
Trial System: You are traveling through an unfamiliar village and save a traveler who is being chased by a combat ape.
Trial System: Turns out the traveler is actually an archiver who used to be working for Osaru. Obviously, Evil Ninja Osaru intends to silence him for good.

Seriously Injured Archiver: "How ironic. I didn't expect you to save me."
Seriously Injured Archiver: "Still sticking to your ninja thing, huh? But it's just a 'memetic virus,' you know?"
Seriously Injured Archiver: "Super-Homonid, Ninja, or Rangers... Every future open to you was decided by someone else. You'll never return to the 'real' world."
System Message: The ninja is pondering the archiver's words.
